Hissers are cool roaches and are a good pet species. I would just keep them as pets.

If it is really slow then it might be a millipede because centipedes are fast. If it has 2 pairs of legs per segment it is a millipede if it as one pair of legs per segment it is a centipede.

They will eat them, but hissers are slow breeders and have a tough exoskeleton so they make poor feeders. If you have a lot of pets you will want something that breeds faster.

Hissers are not good feeders because of their tough exoskeleton. Some of the most popular feeders are Blaberus discoidalis, Blaptica dubia, and Nauphoeta cinerea.

I do not know the scientific name and I have not been able to figure it out. If anybody can figure it out it would help a lot.

All you need to do is mist the side of the enclosure and they will drink the water drops.

They seem to be eating both in and out of the water.

I am not sure that these are red claw crabs. I think they are bigger than any of the pics I saw when I did a search and I did not see any with a red body like mine have.

How would I go about setting it up to be brackish? I have them in fresh water now. I had origanally set this up for halloween crabs, but they were out of stock so I bought these. Here is a pic of the set up.

I think I found a place to go. My mom knows someone that lives there and she says that she owns a ton of land. She said that she owns half a mountain or something like that. anybody know of any other places in Arkansas?
