ok thanx guys this is what i did, i put in hot water to soak for a while, after that i baked it at 350 for 10 minutes then repeted the process just to be safe. seems pretty good.=)

well the cactus is fake and im housing an H. spadix in there so would do you guys think. also when my scorp gest begger cuz hes so tiny ill secure the lid. but really im just testing this out i have plenty of other unused enclosoures.
Your scorp should do fine without a pectine. it may possibly that he/she will have a harder time decting prey but as long as your a good owner you shouldnt worry. could possibly grow back with next molt but scorps take for ever to molt. hope this helps.
My Ball Python, Jazz, finally finshed sheding. i had to bath her a lttle and help her take pieces of skin off. the tail was a b*@%! but i got it done=):D

I usually keep my tarantulas and scorpions in 10 or 5.5 gallon glass terrariums but im losing A LOT of space and even some money. I know some people keep them in carriers i guess you could call them but im just not sure i mean i have used them for subadults but im just not sure about an adult...
