Thank you to everyone who replied. I only came asking for help because she looks like she's thinning out substantually.
To be honest, no, she doesn't always have water available. I didn't offer water readily for her every day because she was sitting in it (with her book lungs submerged) and I...
Haha I know right? And I understand that they go forever without doing.. anything. But, and the pictures don't really show it that well, her abdomen looks a bit smallish to me. I've had her for about a year, can't tell you when she ate last, or even molted last. I didn't own her at the time of...
For a while now, I've been concerned about my G.rosea Belle. When I got her she was plenty fat and happy as far as I could tell, usually lounging on her hide or digging a little. Laying here laying there.
Now, her abdomen seems a bit small to me, and she's always face first in water when...
I bought this little one as a pulchra, but it's not the jet black I was expecting as it grew. Can you confirm if this is a pulchra or not, and if not, guesses on what it is? Thanks. :D
I believe you! The more pictures I see of how large and beautiful they are, the more I can't wait to get one and have it grow! So far, I'm trying to keep my collection all singles. The only exception are my 2 pulchras, but that's just because I love the little devils.
I'm currently thinking...
I'm getting a purpurea. I absolutely adore their colors. Plus I've fallen for arboreals.
I'm also looking to get some classic Ts such as an OBT or 2, as well as P.iminia, H.mac, and I'm thinking a B.emilia as well with the purpurea. I'm debating on a GBB, just because they're a little pricey...
I hear ya Red. I've put off placing my order until my paycheck with overtime and a bonus comes. lol
At least every week I have new critters coming in, I need to stop. This itch is insatiable!
I already have the one babe I'm getting on hold seeing as it's the last one. Oh I can't wait! I...
I wanted to post these last night, buuuuuuuuuuuuuut had some lame PC issues. Now that they're fixed, here are my "Awww too cute" pictures:
A:chalcodes, Hazel, laying in the empty water dish. Sorry the pic is bad. I didn't wanna open the lid and have her move.
Belle, my G.rosea, is a pro...
That sounds like some of the large butted bees we get near the roof of our house. They're so defensive or territorial, if you were to throw a pebble near them, they'll go after it and chase it while it falls. lol So interesting.
Absolutely stunning! I love how the legs look with that bright metallic blue, as well as the rump with that design and the hint of purple. Beautiful.
The exact same thing happened to me. And what do you know. Same common name, same T. Also got mine at a reptile show.
I enjoy it though. It's very pretty.
Hmm.. I think next year I'll have to go! It's too short a notice living on the other side of the playground.. where nothing interesting ever happens, and our Reptiles shows and expos lack Ts!
That rufilata is just stunning, and your regalis is beautiful as well. Wonderful photos. Adoring the bold red on the boehemi as well. Marvelous!
