I am using the lights for heat, I plan to swap them out for red lights but I am having to shop around to find proper wattage. the temp at my house stays at 72 deg. my tank ranges from 75 to 95 deg. The rock thing is a waterfall with a fogger, I moniter the humidity & turn on/off as necessary.
This is what i ended up with. It's a mixture of 50% sand/clay and 50% peat on top of 1 1/2" aquarium gravel. They seem to like it better than 100% peat.
