Has anyone ever killed one of your tarantulas?

Ah yes. I hate winter so much. The air is dry as heck on its own on top of being cold. It can be a slippery slope if regular moistening isn't remembered.

Has anyone ever killed one of your tarantulas?

Are you saying the radiator dried the air out too much or the centralized heating? My house only has two options, centralized or a space heater. I've worried about this as well.

    Possible nematodes ..

Isolate the tarantula first and foremost. The longer you keep it around your other T's the higher the risk of spreading the infection.

White stuff on underside of T

Crap i should've tried getting a clearer picture. I know the exposed joint areas you're talking about. This is on an area that shouldn't have those though. It looked like a build up or growth of some sort. If i catch her out again i'll make sure to take a better picture. My camera wouldn't focus.

White stuff on underside of T

So I looked over and saw this on the underside of my H. vonwirthi just now. Pretty bummed. I saw another thread a while back about this as well. Only whatever it was on that T was yellow and more severe. I can't tell from the angle she was at if it was worse than just that little spot. She's...

    [Warning] Tarantulas Bristol (UK)

What's also weird is that if you try looking for bad reviews on YouTube, there are zero, with all "reviews" having been posted from themselves. Not sure if they're flagging the hell out of negative reviewer's videos or what's going on there. Seems odd.

    [Inquiry] Ken The Bug Guy

I live about 20 minutes from the shop in Tucson and have had a few frustrating experiences there. Mostly with them never updating stock on their website as well as going in for specific species that were listed in stock here on the boards only to find out they'd been sold out after driving over...

Help! My sling has been missing for two days

I don't mean to be a bummer but at that size, your chances of finding him are pretty slim. One thing i can always count on when i lose crickets is to find them crawling up my wall eventually. Maybe tarantulas do the same? Like others have said, try sitting quietly in the room for a while and...
