I had pet rats once, not wild caught ones though. Those gals were some serious escape artists. :eek:

I don't understand people that act like an animal's life is equal to a human's. Sure it was messed up, but I don't think it justifies killing somebody.

Ever notice how you can't reallly feel your clothes after wearing them for a while? Its cause something goes on in our brains where our senses start ignoring stuff after a while. Its possible that tarantula nervous systems do the same thing, but I'm no expert so what do I know? :p

I check on mine constantly. They're in my room so everytime I'm in there standing I'll take a quick peek at them. They usually get a more thorough inspection at least once a day too.

Ah you should get some when you get a chance. I saw the momma C. fimbriatus on display there and she was GORGEOUS.

So I went to the Atlanta Repticon today. This was my first time going to a convention and I have to say, I really enjoyed. There was all kinds of neat stuff to see like HUGE reptiles. But of course I was there for the tarantulas and ended up bringing 6 home. I got some really good deals on them...

GBB H. maculata E. Murinus A. versicolor B. smithi B. emilia And maybe some kind of pokie. Those are all I'm really looking at getting right now. And the Atlanta Repticon is coming up so we'll see if a can scratch a couple off that list. ;)

My A. avic. didn't web for months. And when it did it was only a tube web so it could molt. And that got torn down right after. Of you want something that webs a lot get a P. murinus. ;)
