im a little confused ive read this before and i didnt see anything talking about a tarantula not eating for 4 months. I already used the search in this forum and found nothing useful.

Hey guys, my G. rosea has not eaten since april when i left university and i am starting to worry. she is about ten-ish, and seems to be acting normal except she doesnt eat. she even appears to not have lost much mass in her abdomen since then.
any advice?

ya i have read it before, theres nothing that should be stressing her out she has everything the way she likes it (or seems to). shes dug a burrow and goes in it once in a while and has seemed pretty fine with her enclosure and me handling her for the last while, but this week she seems POed!

My chilean rose has been very jumpy lately and I dont know why.. does anyone know what this means? she doesnt seem to have any dark spots on her abdomen or carapice so I dont think she is in pre molt. She has given me the threat pose twice in the last couple days and has never done...

k thanks, wasnt sure kuz ive been watching her alot and she has never done that before, she seems to lay right flat out on the substrate alot since ive fed her, just chillin i guess.
I have had my chilean rose for about a week and a half now and she just went into a weird pose in a twitchy way. She started kind of twitching into the pose and put her pedipalps and her first two sets of legs directly forwards and her last two pairs kind of radial (normal) and she is flat...
well thanks guys i guess i dont want to stress her too much :s. Um the previous owner also had the tarantula her whole life but he wasnt 100% sure of the age btw.
yea i dno. it seems like she is more active out of her cage, and has her spinerettes moving around laying web etc which i feel means that she is enjoying herself..
