    A. geniculata growth rate

I got my A.geniculata on September 15, 2011 as a 0.25" spiderling. Fed it once a week and it molted 5 times since then. The latest molt was on April 15, 2012 and it measured at roughly about 1.5" now.

    Insect Gladiator

Most of the time it appears that the bugs are just trying to escape from the arena. While I don't condone such activities, but truth of the matter is this is VERY popular in Asain countries such as cock fighting or pit-bull dog fighting here in America.

    Personal favorites?

I would have to say Androctonus mauritanicus is my favorite species....But my favorite scorpion would have to be my 6 years old female Hadrurus arizonensis pallidus and my male Hadogenes troglodytes. Mostly because the both of them are so docile.

    Considering

I never had a A. australis or their cousin the A. bicolor....But I do have a couple of Androctonus mauritanicus. Their quite the beauty of a specimen. So I'm going to be bias here and say go with the A. australis instead of the L.q
