Like grayzone I use it with my arboeals and for decoration, but I never blend it. I like to put it around plants in my display cages and arboreal Ts really seem to like using pieces in their webbing. My favorite use though is in arboreal sling enclosures. I use a pill jar with a little dirt in...
Why is there any argument on the care of these scorpions? I have very little experience with these particular scorpions but havent they been successfully kept before? What were the conditions they were kept in? I mean sure their natural climate is important in figuring out captive husbandry, but...
Are Phyllium giganteum illegal in the US (or more specifically in Georgia)? I have heard this before, but I cannot find much about it and I definitely nothing from a credible source. If so does anyone know why or link me to something that explains? Thanks.
Sorry if this has been posted...
First piece of advice I have is research research research. I never hear people complain they did to much research before getting an animal, but you hear the opposite all to often.
You should be able to find everything you need through research very easily. You dont need much. As far as price...
There is one store that is about 30 minutes south of Atlanta that has a few Ts. Its called Randars Reptiles (randarsreptiles.com) He has a good selection for Atlanta, but thats not saying much. I would give him a call before wasting your time driving there. Are you looking for anything specific...
Does anyone know if there are many scorpions in Panama City Beach (or really close by). Im not necessarily looking for specific spots, I just dont want to waste time I could be spending on the beach if there is no reason to go looking. Thanks.
I would recommend looking into some entry level DSLRs if you dont mind spending a little cash. Nikon would probly be best if you are mainly concerned with photos. I prefer Canon for the video quality, but photo side of it doesnt compare, at least not on the entry level cameras. As stated above...
I think people could give you some more specific suggestions if you give a price range and experience with cameras. Also do you want to shoot video with the camera as well or just photos? As mentioned above though lighting, your lens and knowing how to use the camera can make all the difference.
I pulled them on day 31. About a week ago I had to move the females cage from my room into my reptile room which is a good bit warmer during the day. I thought that could have been the problem.
Hi guys,
Before I ask my question I just want to say Im sure this question has been asked before, but I couldn't find any info by using the search engine. I was probably just wording it wrong, so if there is an older thread that covers this please let me know.
So I pulled an egg sac from...
It depends on which repticon you are talking about Im sure. The one in Atlanta has some good deals. You just have to watch out for the reptile dealers that buy a bunch of wc Ts and dont know crap about them. If you start talking scientific names and they get confused, you should probably find a...
From what I understand he didnt "pull" the sac. I mean yes the sac was taken out but only because it was abandoned.
Like people have said If their are some viable looking eggs you should try to incubate. When it comes time to open the sac, just make sure and remove all of the black eggs. Good...
Just wanted to give an update on these guys. Out of the 42 I only lost between 7 &10. Not sure exactly, a few were still alive but looking bad. I still think around 30 surviving and doing well is pretty good. I wish I would have taken some pics. Anyways thanks for the help everyone.
