I have owned numerous C. crawshayi and H. gigas. I have yet to see H. gigas get biiger than a C. crawshayi. Measuring legI to leg IV (SAME SIDE), most of my female C. crawshayi peaked around 8-8.5". I have only seen one of my H. gigas even get to 8".
