Thanks for the tips....I've got the trio in a 29g, probably an overkill, but what the hey. The 2 females are probably gravid, how's is the whole canibalism thing with this species....as far as mother with young? I'm wandering if I should seperate both mothers when their ready?
As of this morning I am the new owner of some Centruroides exilicauda.
I've got 1.2 It appears that the females are already gravid too. Man these guys are tiny!! I am new to this species and so far very cool. Any major concerns I need to know about them...would be greatly appreciated.
Don't...
I have not had a chance to go out down here yet and see what I can find. I am however preparing for my new buddies - Centruroides exilicauda pair. Set to arive later this week. :)
Very cool on your outing, not so cool on the dead scorp, but I guess that's nature for ya.
I guess I'll need to go out and see what I can find here in Yakima. :)
From what I've read Uroctonus mordax has only recently been established here in Washington.
Cool Site!
Hi All,
My name is Don and I live in Yakima, WA. I came across this site while searching for various info on scorpions. I am starting to build my collection up again....had to get rid of my previous animals.
:) Great resource!!!
