Maybe they want to keep other animals that are attracted to water away. Anything like centipedes, scorps, wasps.... Like some ammals that eat dead young or young poop to reduce the smell and not attract predators.

Try another species of roach that your scorps will like more. S.tartara for example: They are soft-bodied, they reproduce like or better than lobsters, they dont climb, etc etc. Search for tartara and you'll end up on a very nice thread....

But, that's what he's going to do (no???).

And don't forget the roaches that were all FINE:) Also, I've had a package of Phasmids that took 2 weeks to reach me and I found a few of them in good shape :)
