I was lucky enough to see my hognose shed a few weeks ago. Very cool!

The potting soil was in his temp box. He has been moved to a 20 gallon glass tank with proper substrate. He is pre-moult indeed. He has had the blue eyes for about 4 days now so it should be anytime. To bad I have to leave on vacation for a week tomorrow morning. I would love to watch.....:(

I live in Bellingam and I have never found any scorps. But a four hour drive over the mountains isn't a bad price to pay for some cool scorps IMHO.

This is my new gopher snake that I caught while on vacation. He was very mean when I found him but is as nice now as any cb snake I have ever handled. He is about 4 feet long now. Very cool snake. Thought I would share.{D

A hair smaller than say 1st instar C. vittatus I would say.

Did you keep the gopher snakes? I go over to eastern WA twice a year and I have never seen one until yesterday. Very cool IMO!

Very nice boa.

About 4" of substrate. There is a branch in there to that his burrow is under. He climes all over that thing day and night. It does have a wire top too.

My T is now starting to injure himself in his quest for a mate. One of his back feet is missing and his other back foot is broken and now points straight up. His abdoman is becoming bald and is all dented from him falling on it. Is there anything I can do to keep him from injuring himself?

He did make a sperm web. My other large one is a female just waiting for her to molt. Hopefully soon.

I have a couple A. hentzi and one of my two big ones just molted in to a mature male about three weeks ago. Now he spends all of his time trying to get of his cage. My large female should be molting anytime and will be mature. I'm starting to get worried about the male though because he is not...

Thanks. I did not figure those poor little guys at Petco would be CB. I have already been looking on the net for them and have found some good deals. I still am not quite sure if I'm going to get one or not. Might have to let a few of my scorpions go to make room for one. I have always loved...

I have mine in the critter room which is always 75*F and then I run a lamp above there tank with a 25 watt bulb during the day. That brings the daytime temps up to about 80-85 during the day. Seems to work well for me.
