    feeding roaches

Ts attack them while the roaches are moving. Roaches seem to be very good at playing dead. When the T is on-top of the roach, use a q-tip to move the ground next to where the roach is. The T will think the roach has moved and attack.

My T blondi and his broken fangs(Large Pics)

Not sure how just popping the contents of the feeders is going to get the T to eat. Don't they have to digest the content first with their venom? I would think some sort of liquid protein should be better. GL, i hate loosing Ts :( Lost about 8 slings to an ant infestation months ago, and...

Is it bad to not use water dishes?

The thing about this is that I have water dishes in all my adult T cases. But i have my slings in bone dry peat and no waterdish. They get ALL they're moisture from their food. They also have molted 2 times and their third will probably within a week. Has ANYONE done some study to see if...

    Brooding G.Rosea question

I've pretty much expirenced what the OP posted but i've already put it into a hamock. Anyone know how to tell if the eggs are fertilized and how long does it to take to notice egg development?

    Proper Care?

I keep ALL my T i have on 100% dry peat. Larger ones with water dishes and only moisture my slings get are from food. They are too little for a water dish or more like i worry they will drown if i provided one. All in all i decided it's to much hassle to mist my slings and can cause more...

    Substrate....

I love 100% :) Go to your local home depot and get the one suggested by the above poster. I use it dry, moist, for my superworms (they actually eat the peat), seems to work well so far. No need to buy anything really expensive when you have peat :)

    Discoid Nymphs.

My first batch of Discoid nymphs have started to molt. It took about 2 weeks. Question I'd like to ask is that it seems they are two types of nymphs, one has a wide body and some has narrower bodies? Are these the difference between male and female? This is very noticeable.

    G.Rosea and Webbing

So i decided after my G-rosea went into the and closed itself into the pot for over a month i decided to go digging in. Long stroy short, found an egg sac, took it out and put it into a hammock. I'd like to know how can you tell if the eggs are fertile? It's probably been month or so since...

what would be the best setup to house a 1/2" Antilles Pinktoe (Avicularia versicolor)

swift sends it neatly packed inside those vials. you can usally keep slings up all the way to an inch or so, i've recently moved all my slings into plastic cases from those art stores... kinda expensive for the size.

    Anyone interested in G.Rosea Slings

Seems like almost no one wants G.Rosea Slings? How would they be as feeders to bigger slings? I"m sure they would be easier to keep than crickets for a few months?

    Sealed off A Genics

Mine sealed itself off for about a 2 weeks, then it molted. Then stayed there for awhile, until i put in a pinhead after 2-3 days after the molt, it came out, got the pinhead and went back down.
