Hey guys my spiderlings been hiding in his flower pot hide for quite some time now and today i discovered him moutling when i lifted it up.. is that bad? i was pretty freaked out that i disturbed him and i was careful when i made it back down but still has anyone had a bad experience while peeking?
they actually can eat like 6-12 crickets a week :P overfeeding isnt really possible they'll just refuse food. The only way i could see overfeeding as a problem is if it got heavy and fell.
i have seen this kind of behaviour in my g rosea,
nearest big city is barrie ont which is a 30 min drive
crickets(always)
moult was last year in august(sorry dont know exact date)
my tarantula seems fine it wasnt as bad as the one in the video posted but it definately is fine
it looked as...
Tarantulas are usually clean about the leftovers and discard of the remains in a food bolus.you dont have to worry about getting the remains(if any) out
lemme get this straight; in the tarantula keepers guide it says to introduce the female into the male enclosure. But wouldnt it make more sense to do the opposite as the males are the wanderers?
for a while i have been noticing my G rosea exhibiting strange behaviour. quite often it will lift up two legs on one side and rub palps and underside of body.has anyone else seen this behavior?:?
