    feeding slings

hmm..my A. avicularia never wants to eat. she is about a half inch big now, and i drop little pinheads in or small crickets, and she doesn't go after them. i haven't seen her eat--ever. i find dead cricket bodies though...uneaten. weird...

    feeding slings

yeah, i can never tell if my one sling has ever eaten or not--my A. avicularia. i just assume she/he has, considering i can't find any crickets leftover(although i do think sometimes they just die and get lost in the substrate). thanks for the reply though. :-)

    feeding slings

i usually feed them one or two crickets at a time, depending on how hungry they are. i always give them fresh water(every other day), i drizzle it down the side of their containers for them. thanks for the advice though. :-)

    feeding slings

i was just wondering if anyone could tell me how long a sling can go without eating? i've heard some people say they have to eat daily, and others weekly. is it possible for them to go longer than that? i have been feeding my weekly and i'm just curious if that is ok. thanks.

i am about to change my P. murinus' cage, and was wondering if anyone has any reccomendations on where i could find a suitable cage or other container? right now she is in a kritter keeper, which is fine, except that i think something taller would be better for her considering she only uses the...

    Advice on moving OBT. Yikes!

in it's old tank it had about five or six inches of substrate. he/she wasn't very interested in burrowing at all, given the fact it had plenty of stuff to burrow. that really struck me as odd...from the time we purchased it, it was just interested in spinning webs...hmm... the only reason i put...
