Back in the day when I had dozens of scorplings I would feed them as much as they would eat. They are growing faster at that stage and are always hungry. Just don’t leave feeder litter/pieces in their container to go bad. And if they don’t seem hungry, make sure to remove any remaining feeders...
Could be. Or could just be well fed as captives tend to get. IME they are usually a bit fatter when gravid. Especially when near parturition.

Preferably large herp tweezers. But there are other safe methods. Deep plastic cup on a stick. You could herd it (with long implement) into a resealable storage container pop the lid on and move to new housing. Carefully remove lid in new habitat. Herd it into a really small critter keeper then...
Wow! Has technology and availability coma long way since Dave and I constructed our LED collecting lamps in the early 2000’s! You can now buy LED flashlights with 50+ LEDs in various frequency ranges for under $10 on Amazon or many other places.

Could be a Leiurus. Has long thin pedipalps/pincers and from what little can be seen the right color on the last tail segment. Regardless, it probably has significant venom. Note: all scorpions are venomous, but most are not dangerous. In Iran you are much more likely to encounter a dangerously...
Um...you resurrected a dead seven year old thread. I don't think most posters in this thread are active members -including myself.
However, both species can be found together in habitats in Arizona.

I agree with Michael.
Opisthacanthus asper or slight chance of O.validus.
See a very similar picture of one (O.validus) I photographed on my Honeymoon to South Africa and Namibia.
