They aren't difficult, but there is a trick to them. Cross-ventilation. They need to have a fair amount of humidity, but the air-flow is the track. You want an enclosure that's going to have a solid amount of ventilation holes running along the vertical edges.

I'm a bit like Storm76 when it comes to an OBT. I kind of fling the food in during a well timed lid opening and hope for the best. I've had my OBT freak out one too many times during feeding or well..any time. I could see how tongs might invite your little orange psychopath out. Good luck.
