thanks alot guys,
im glad its just its missing hairs, i was alarmed because ive seen my usambara, colbalt blue, and vietmanese bird eater kick off hairs before, but they never left a pink patch like that. I raised this one from a spiderling and I've never had it get aggressive enough to throw...

Howdy yall.
I got a quick question, I purchased a baby Goliath Bird eater a while back, and after moving her from her delicup to a small critter keeper she got along fine for several weeks. But now, for about a week and a half or so, she wont eat any of the crickets i put in her tank. Looking...
well heck, if you get them in Rockwall i have to find them in Plano.
matter o' fact, i caught what looks like a little Scolopendra polymorpha just a few hours after i posted this, at a local mudding/hangout spot near Garland.
Guess these little guys are everywhere.
I hate to sound cold on the inside, but a infestation of recluse spiders in your room..... sounds like a worst possible senario to me. I'd go Terminator with gernades and fully automatic machine guns.....

also, what...
Personly being from an area full of brown recluse spiders, and all run off's of the species, my vote would be to move them far, far, far away from you. I've grown up over the years seeing many people get bit by them, a few who had to wait more than a few hours before they made it to hospital...
I have three seperate females myself and i agree with both of you.
Although i have to remind to remove all eggsacs from the jar, the spider will produce egg sacs indeffinitly for the rest of its life, so its an necessary upkeep. Now considering you don't know if the widow mated in the wild...
