The sound's all out of sync with the video, but you can still see him catching the cricket. Also, forgive me if I pronounce the Latin name wrong. I've only seen it written.

Yeah, mine dropped a sac too. I tried to raise them, but had the damndest time keeping them alive. I eventually just let the survivors go, figuring they could do better on their own.
Botar's got some, and they seem quite healthy and active. They also had their feeler legs intact, which much of the time seem to be missing when people buy them.
Got two D. diadema and a Malaysian vinegaroon today from Botar at the St. Louis reptile show. Great bugs. The vinegaroon is great to handle, very calm and docile. I worry about hurting the amblypigids, though. Anyway, on to the pics:

Hrm, well, these don't actually have spines, but I dunno what other category they'd go into.
I've eaten plenty of these, and kept a couple in part of a local wildlife tank. When I got my european legless lizard she went into that tank. I thought she'd ignore them, but she caught and ate them all.
My P. audax made an eggsack, which was built into her little web nest. I took it out and it hatched, but I had a hell of a time keeping the babies alive.
Yeah, the long legs, small abdomen, and he does have his boxing gloves on. It's not hard to see on this individual when actually looking at him, but the palpal buds don't show up in the picture well.
Was at work, and saw this guy crawling on the wall. Biggest one I've seen in my five or six years living in recluse country. It's a male, larger than the quarter I put him next to. I still have him, if anyone wants him. Dunno if he'd survive the trip, though, he surely doesn't have long to live.
Was in the pet shop the other day, getting mice and crickets, and happened to see a little lizard with the most amazing tail. He was $6, so I bought him, and set up a ten gallon tank for him. He's skittish, but calms down a little more each time I handle him.
