I'm sorry but I have no Idea what these things are can someone fill me in? I'm sure I may feel stupid in the long run but right now I feel the need to as this question so help enlighten me!
OK lets not jump to conclusions here Doug, I've talked with Jobe on several occasions and don't think he is getting enjoyment out of this. The main thing to keep in mind is yes mice can bite back, but not everyone has had experience with snake feeding so alot of people have no idea that bites...
Well sitting here tonight and watching my G. rosea and learning things I never knew were possible with them! Right now she's working on her burrow alot, quite possible for an up comming molt. But the main thing is all in her actions! She gathers up the substrate and picks it up and is...
OK I've been reading through some post and noticed someone talking about freezing cricket's and thawing them out and feeding them to sling's. Also the talk of beef heart was mentioned. OK would it be safe to say that T's are predators and scavanger's? If they will readily take dead prey that...
Oh yeah almost forgot the drift wood seems to work out pretty good and is espically funny to watch your T go after a cricket that has lodged it self up under it and the T trying to dig it out! But sooner or later they have to come out! Mostly sooner! There's nothing like a determined Tarantula!
Hey JWB actually the plant thingy is just a back drop for fish aquariums that I got at a pet store. Most of them have reverseable sides so they have like a desert scene on one side and aquarium plants on the other. Also some have jungle scenes on one side and solid black of blue on the other...
Just thought I'd post a pic of my Rose Hair's setup. It's nothing special just was bored so what the heck! Also if anyone would like to have a look I also posted one of my Millipede's setup on in the Myriopods forum.
Just a quick question does anyone have or has anyone ever had a T (espically a G. rosea) act as if it was defending it's burrow? I was using a paint brush to clear some cricket nuggets out of the way of her entrance and she came out with all attitude!!! Legs all raised and smacking the paint...
Sounds like the typical T to me I have one that very rarely shows her self during the day but if so will wonder out and find her a spot to hunker down in and then not move all day unless disturbed. I think I would be more worried if it was very active and going all the time to me that would...
Faunya I just received a Millipede a week or two ago that was listed as a Red Millipede and was housed with an African Black so I ended up getting both and have them housed together. If you can find any info on them please pass it on to me also I haven't been able to find anything on red...
Ephesians yeah dude they are huge! At least for a roach! You said hes wanting 50 of them well man if all of them are 3 inches from head to tail and they were lined up in a straight line that would be 150 inches of roach! Hehehehe!
But like I was telling you last night they are pretty neat...
Dennie these Roaches are the Giant Madagascar Hissing Coch Roach's! They can be used for food for T's but you wouldn't want to throw in a full grown adult roach with a G. Rosea, or a B. albopilosum. But you could use the babies for a food source or a freshly moulted roach while its still soft.
Hey dude you wanting them for feeding or the pet thingy? I can get ahold of 4 for you which are still small and pretty cheap $1 for each which isn't bad (my price). But if you like I could see about getting you some adults also if you are wanting them for breeding I could probably get you...
