Sabah is indeed an amazing place. With some short breaks I've spent there almost 1 year.
Getting there is not comlicated, sightseeing, tourism also. Malaysia is not a 3rd world country. It's 2 and a half ;)

Today, in the forest I've found 'few' specimens of this amazing millipede :)
Was able only to IDed them to Spirobolida. Right now I'm on Ambon island, east Indonesia.
Any chances for id? Adults are ~12-14cm BL

After 8-years dealing with venomous invertebrates, I've been finally stung ;)
Adult, WC female of Lychas scutilus. Moving to transportation cage. Just wanted put some extra handkerchief one her, when I felt sting. Involuntarily I've close the cage in case of escape.

I'm not talking about describing new specie, and AFAIK there are keys to Genera of Theraphosidae. And I just have to less exp with iding spiders.
