i believe you're correct...."dangerously" being the key word...also, if i remember correctly, i was told that you can ship reptiles, but not mammals through usps

The last scorps I shipped out, were labeled "Reptiles," by the woman who took my package at DHL.......There is a specific list provided by USPS if you call their 800 number...The woman with usps I talked to, did not list T's as unacceptable....I would ask for them to fax the list to you, so you...

My advice would be to go to the facility tomorrow morn where they load the trucks...Does the delivery place know they have live animals for you?? I would also make a big stink to DHL, and let them know someone was there waiting, and that there absolutely was no delivery attempt made, no matter...

My new C. fasciatum was out wandering its cage last night...She doesn't usually do that, and I thought it was odd...At any rate, she is now sitting on top of this little mound of dirt, but there is webbing and what looks like some white looking stuff similar to what I've seen in pics of egg...

gotta' disagree..they can be useful if under other rocks, or wrapped in a sock...however, then you have to worry about shorts, burns, etc!!!

Yes, but sometimes at the expense of the T's! I'm way too paranoid to put in a heat rock...Though with some of my snakes, torts and lizards I have used one...But I usually put a sock over it, and use a rubberband to close off the opening! I've seen too many burned bellies to use heat rocks...
