    Pterinochilus murinus

I was at 2pm by a one inch sling. It had run out of the container onto my arm while I was misting it. As soon as went to cup it I immediately felt a sharp sting and new I had been bit. The pain set in automatically with my whole fore arm feeling like it was on fire. After a hour of intense pain...

    New 1st instar OBT spiderlings

I used a small container half filled with water, covered with a layer of panty hose. Put that inside a larger container and you have the perfect incubator. My last obt sac was a 100% hatch rate this way.

    Genus Cyriopagopus (a.k.a. Haplopelma)

I bought three tarantulas labled H. longipes. So far two have molted and one looks completely different from the other two now. This is the oddly colored one. With flash Without flash. This is the other one that has molted. The third one looks just like this one. Does anyone have an...

    Rhinoceros Beetles as food?

Send some my way! Look like awesome pets. I have no idea about feeding them to TS though. Under the wings it doesn't seem like they have much meat.

    C. marshalli breeding.

Man I am pissed. Some University of Texas students released a type of fly to combat the fire ants down here. Instead of helping with fire ants they have been tearing through peoples tarantula collections. So far I have lost my rufilata and subfusca. It didn't faze me much until I got home from...

    C. marshalli breeding.

So my female has been walking on the sac and it is starting to peel up on the edges. I still have two weeks before I planned to pull it. Since it is a hammock style sac and she doesn't need to turn it would it be okay for me to take her out for now? Or should I just go ahead and pull it now?

    My critter setup

I agree with what the person above me said. I would like to add that the fact you are creating all the enclosures before buying the spiders and scorps is a very good idea. Most of the time I find myself purchasing tarantulas and then trying to find an enclosure for them. Each time I tell myself...

    can anybody explain...

I just candled my versi last night. It seems it is dependent on the size of the abdomen and if there are actually eggs growing. I candled her three weeks or so ago and there was no glow. Now that the abdomen is twice the size it is very yellow.
