Such cool little creatures. If I had any room to spare I'd have a colony of these little guys. The only downside for me is knowing that they're all wild caught and they're never going to breed. But that's a whole other topic.
Very nice pictures. I dunno if you've looked around, but these...
I've seen pictures of big centipedes of that 'design' on the myriapod board and they looked truely incredible.
From this thread (more pictures in there too): http://www.arachnoboards.com/ab/showthread.php?t=62680&highlight=Thereuopoda

Leopard geckos bite? Heh, interesting to hear. I got my first two leopard geckos for my twelth birthday and they were about eight months old, I'm now going on for twenty one and they're now part of a colony of 7, soon to be nine. I currently have thirteen, My two ol' girls, another two girls I...
I concur, I kept hissers with a deaths head species and the deaths heads moved , ate and bred a lot faster than the hissers and I ended up splitting them up for the greater good.
I call them woodlice, when ever I hear them call isopods my broken mind imagines a tank full of little ipods crawling about eating leaves in a big tank.
Just thought you'd like to know that.
But yeah, woodlice breed easy if you put them in an old, empty and cleaned ice-cream tub. put some...
Hi, I've seen you on some other boards before. Very nice samples from your collection.
Looking at your second picture, did you actually manage to breed velvet worms? I've not heard of much success with them in captivity. How are you keeping them cool in this weather? Very interesting little...
Beautiful snakes.
I got given a cali king and two corns; one largish almenistic and one medium sized 'normal' phase by someone who was moving more towards birds and was worried he might not pay enough attention to them. I've wanted a snake for years so obviously I jumped at the chance. The...
I started out incubating eggs from my white-spots and I had a 100% hatch rate, I just kept them warm and damp on vermiculite and I think it took about six to eight weeks, can't remember exactly.
Since then though I've started just leaving the eggs in their tank. Soon after I got them they...
I've got some laterallis aka Sherfordella tartara, and they seem very promising.
I've heard they can become pests in certain parts of the world, thus far I haven't confirmed if we are one of these parts but I'm planning on a little experiment. Based on what I've read, they don't pose any...
It could be that your heat lamp is to blame, personally I prefer a heat mat taped to the back of the tank covering about half the length of the enclosure. Keeps the airtemperature up but doesn't evaporate the moisture from the soil.
Another thing you can do is get a deep, wide water dish and...
You can really go to town with the decorations inside their enclosure too since they won't dismantle/eat your hard work like many others. This coupled with their interesting behaviour makes them great display animals.
