Female opened her burrow but no sac, waited 2 days then fed, she ate and male ate, placed male back in with her, he immediately went into her burrow, lots of tapping and shaking but i do not think their was a positive pairing, still a waiting game..
Male has been absent from female for almost a week now, I fully inteneded to place the male back in with her tonight, but when i looked into her enclosure tonight she had thouroughly closed herself in, I'm assuming 1 of 2 things, a pending molt OR an eggsac is being built. Male is currently in...
Male remained housed with the female for a week, I removed male last night in order to feed both, Male is now huddled in his enclosure not eating, female (who has always been a great eater) is now not eating as well, so i'm hopin this is a sign of an upcoming sac.
During routine feeding and maintenance today i decided to place male in with female permanantly, theyve had several successful pairing over the past few month, not once though have i ever seen a sperm web from the male, odd to say the least. I'll keep an eye on them over the next week or so and...
Re-introduced male after a week long break, still no sign of a sperm web, Ive always heard this Sp. can be housed communally, placed male in with female, kinda spooked him a little and he ran directly into her hole, heard them thumping around and thought for sure she had killed him, after about...
I love this Sp. and after reviewing the forums i never noticed where anyone had bred them or posted about it, so i thought since i have male and female why not, they're an amazing T.

I completely with the others...NEVER loan your female out, as Neon said, mature females sell for a great price and you could work out a trade for slings if a sac is produced.
I have 2 H.Gigas and i just recently stumbled onto this topic im very curious about setting up a communal tank, my big girl is about 5 inchs or so, my other (unsexed) is about 3", they did not come from the same sac, and have been kept seperate as far but i really wanna do this.
Ok i been away awhile and im just now starting to get back my collection, but im noticing alot of the T's that knew are being called by different names now, has there been a massive name change in the latin names, is there somewhere i can go to brush up on whats new or not? Is a T.Blondi still a...
