These came in labled as a tiger rumps- which it most definetly is tiger rumped but definetly not a Tiger rump (C.f) Ideas? Goes in what I used to think of as Nhandu, but they are only about 2in at the present. Bad pic...I'll try to get out the good camera tomorrow.

Ok I know this is a horrible pic and I will try to get a better one tommorrow but this scorp came in a shipment collected from Peru if not than Chile. We got 10 of them. They are about 1 1/2in dark with almost reddish claws, resembles a fattail. Nice looking but what could they be? Bothriuridae sp.?

Spraying one with bug spray i've seen them appear to sting themselfs.

I love the way the slings look. I think this one was about 1in when I took this.

Just in case this could help someone I sexed both scorps and both ended up being male.

How do you tell the difference between a gravid scorp and one thats about to molt(there're both fat!)?
