She can definately lay eggs again. Whether they are fertile or not is another question. (Refer to the other post...I mentioned "candling" the eggs.)
In order for the beardie to lay eggs she needs a burrow. The ones I have owned have to dig their own burrow. When she stops eating much and...
In my experience (yes, we breed dragons too!) those eggs don't look good. Go ahead and incubate them, but there is a good chance you will know for sure within days. Our eggs have always done best at right around 90 degrees F. You can "candle" the eggs using a flashlight to see if they are...
That is so great! Wait until she is comfortable with you all. Very few people know how special this animal is! Please let me know if you need anything!
Once you know she is used to you, watch her body language carefully when you put your hand near her to "step up." If her pupils go tiny, then back of little by little until she is more comfortable. Use her treats to try to coax her onto your hand. Hold it with your right hand so she has to...
Messiness....absolutely. Sometime mine will huck food around just to show me he doesn't like something that's going on in the house.
Even though they take a lot of work, nothing in this world could separate me and this bird. I would have never believed it before one owned me.
You can't...
Congratulations!
You are about to enter into a relationship that you won't believe!
First, get with your friend and find out everything you can about your bird's former routine. It can help a lot to try to keep things as close to the same. What time did it eat? When does it go to bed...
Generally they go for anywhere between 1 and 2 thousand.
The Greys are very popular because they have the reputation of being the best talkers. (not to mention that they can imitate every sound so well the you'll be looking for the phone or running to the microwave in vain.)
They are...

We are taking one of our breeding female bearded dragons to the vet. Our contact at the local store has been very knowlegeable and helpful. Today she said that parasites can be passed very easily from dragons to humans. Does anyone know if this is true? I have not heard it before. Thanks.
Yeah...he won't tolerate anybody else. Yesterday he climbed off his cage and walked half way across the room just bite my son in the toe. HARD. He will occasionally tolerate my wife, but only if he is with me and then only to a small extent. I.E...he will only go to her if I pass him off...
Well, its going on two weeks now and this bird is amazing. He has bonded completely to me...even regurgitates food for me! He is with me all of the time that I am home...he even hangs out on the curtain rod when I take a shower. He bends his head down and says "Pet Me". He says tons of stuff...
Looks like I'll be getting a 6 year old boy with a current vocab of about 200 words. I've spent the last month reading about them before I decided to take this guy. (For free, I might add.) I've known the owner for years, and the bird is in wonderful health. I was just wondering if anyone...
We have a fresh batch of hatchling bearded dragons. 5 days old. Their tank is about a foot away and a foot lower than a tank of mice. One of the little dragons was basking on a high rock and saw the mice moving about. The little thing started doing a major arm wave at the mice. Oh man. I...
