i'm not exactly sure how old my chalcodes is but i've had her for three years and has not molted once, the gentleman i bought her from said she had'nt moltd in two and a half years so, i'm guesssing 20-25 plus years old she is by far the oldest that i have. stan shultz has some old t's as well.
yuo could pick up a bicegoi from one the dealers on here but the other would cost a whole lot if they ever made it to the hobby new avics are always popping up in the trade but these would be hard to get, seeming that more and more countrys in south america are banning imports of there animals...
I bought a 4 1/4 inch p.irminia at a pet show. This is my first experience with this species, i was was wondering if any body knows how long it takes for them to mature or when they mature how do you know?
the pet show i would prefer to buy from by far the cheapest i have seen, but that only happens once a year around here. but online dealers i think are the wayu to go.
only one other that i know of, and that's the s.satanus and one hasn't been seen since 1918 and it was a male. rick west said he wants plans togo back to africa and find this elusive species so we'll just have to wait and see what he finds.
How many species of Poecilotheria are there? I heard 16 but I'm not sure I heard of a poecilotheria uniformis, but I"ve never seen anybody talk about the ones that aren't in the trade, is this one of the sixteen?
