i'm not exactly sure how old my chalcodes is but i've had her for three years and has not molted once, the gentleman i bought her from said she had'nt moltd in two and a half years so, i'm guesssing 20-25 plus years old she is by far the oldest that i have. stan shultz has some old t's as well.

How many species of Poecilotheria are there? I heard 16 but I'm not sure I heard of a poecilotheria uniformis, but I"ve never seen anybody talk about the ones that aren't in the trade, is this one of the sixteen?

wow, beautiful I am mostly a tarantula keeper myself but I am absolutely mesmerized by huntsmen spiders and yours looks like a huntsman to me. I would get a good look at the eye placement first and that should narrow down your search. GOod luck, and awesome find!!!!
