    Shipping Woes

A while ago (several years back) I sold three Ts to a member here. I packed perfectly. It took three days for the package to make it to the buyers post office. The buyer fell off the face of the earth. The package sat there for several weeks before they sent the package back to me. Then they...

    GBB pairing. Nothing happened.

Alright, I attempted to pair my GBB tonight. Nothing happened. He did the dancing. She was receptive. She got near him and he took off away from her. She was being real gentle with him. But he decided it wasn't going to happen on their first date. Being all gentlebug like. He has made at...

GBB- He's no longer a boy. Him is a man!

Nah. I don't do special tricks. Never had any issues before. Just feed, breed, and feed some more.

If all goes well and he does the deed right, I'll send you this little dude.

GBB- He's no longer a boy. Him is a man!

I have bred a few species. P. irminia, C. darlingi, A. avicularia, G. pulchripes, L. parahybana. I think that's all that I've bred. I've had a couple WC G. rosea drop a sac and incubated them. I had an A. hentzi attempt to drop a sac, she did a horrible job at closing it and most of the eggs and...

Male to female ratio is better in my collection now.

I have to agree. These three are probably my favorite OW species. Especially the C. darlingi.

Male to female ratio is better in my collection now.

Well, I have put so much thought into keeping and parting with my collection. So, I am parting with most of them. I am just going to keep 10. The hard part was deciding which to keep and which to rehome. This is the most difficult part. But, I have to. Here are the ones that I chose to keep...

Male to female ratio is better in my collection now.

Oh no worries. I just lost count. I really should say I just quit counting. Lol Even if they were larger, I would be contemplating rehoming. I just don't want to have to see them suffer due to me loading my plate up. I tried to make sure I didn't get a lot of the "beginner" species. Not my cup...

Male to female ratio is better in my collection now.

I always hate having more males than females in my collection. When I got back in the hobby, I had planned to keep my collection small. When I say small, just wanted to keep 5-15. 15 being on the high side. No more than that at all. No matter what! I have no will power! Here is how my...

Had an awesome time at Repticon in Houston!

I posted a wanted ad here. He is not mature just yet. His condition, I doubt it'll be much longer before he molts and matures out. Hopefully all goes well with the breeding and he don't become a snack!

Had an awesome time at Repticon in Houston!

I was going to go to this today. Sick kid, sick wife, sick me. Kind of killed it. The drive and walking around to turn around and drive again. Sucks. Plus I had to be here to sign for a male GBB that came in the mail today. Meh. Maybe next time.

Both of the H. pulchripes have molted.

The second one that molted, has come out of its little web cave. Funny thing, both of them are refusing to take to their cork burrows. They are acting arboreal. Is this normal behavior from them?

Both of the H. pulchripes have molted.

They both have molted! One molted today. The other one molted shortly have I got it. It's been out and about and has already taken a few crickets. Here are some pictures of the one that molted shortly after it got here. It's gorgeous!!! I could not be more please with any of my critters. These...

    Today's package...

I'm happy with all of them. Except the Brachy. I could've lived without that one. I am going to have to get rid of a couple itchy buggies we have.

    Today's package...

My wife wanted another buggie...(one I'll end up taking care of like the rest.) I also wanted something else. Hers, H. lividum. Was sold as unsexed. Looks female. Mine, C. fimbriatus. Two slings. Freebie, B. albopilosum sling. Ick. Going to be an itchy house before to long. Picture one-...

Enclosure for those that always hide.

That is what I plan to do. I'm going to test it out today with a H. lividum. I'll post some pictures after a while.
