    Dr. Pies Tarantula keepers record

Like ronin already mentioned you have to remove the old one first. I added an uninstaller this time to save the trip add/remove programs. The picture looks really good! Thanks for letting me use it. :) Threre is one space separating the dates and it seems to look ok, but any further...

    Dr. Pies Tarantula keepers record

Hi, The new version is finished, didn't have time to do that much to it as I only had today to take a look at it again. But, most of the niggles have been ironed out and it's much more stable/useful. Remember to save your old tarantula.xml file in the JCS program files directory before you...

Usambara baboon slings - On the loose!

I used double sided tape to catch a seemanni spiderling once. It was the last resort and amazingly it worked without any damage to the spider. Woke up one morning and there it was, a leg got stuck on the tape. ;)

    3 dead versicolor slings!

    A. seemani or B. albopilosum

I'd go for B. albopilosa over the seemanni. But it's personal preference at the end of the day.

Nah, my program is better. :wicked: I'll have to update the program one day, havn't touched it since last year. It comes in handy for the people who don't have excel(I believe!). http://www.jcsoftware.co.nr/

    Draw Blood

Cant say it's happened to me, but I imagine it can happen if the tarantula uses it's fangs to hang on.

Looking for an interesting T to buy

Lasiodora parahybana is the one you want. Big and active and also cheap. My personal favourite.

    P. metallica not molting?

I have noticed a slight variation in colour definition in my p.metallicas after molting, I doubt there is anything to worry about. You could post a pic though to make sure.

    P. metallica not molting?

Like the man Talkenlate says, if the spider looks generally healthy, then everything is probably ok. What temperature do you keep the spider at, btw?

    P. metallica not molting?

Sounds about right within that time frame. How often do feed him/her?

    Pregnant women and tarantulas?

Why would that be a logical assumption? Venom effect, or merely shock of being bitten? I doubt there would be any problem at all, bitten or otherwise.

How do you care for Pamphobeteus nigricolor?

These spiders like to hide. I provide a half flower pot, which does the job well. They are terrestrial btw.

    C. crawshayi female in trouble?

I've seen that happen with a C.crawshayi, the eventual molt turned out fine.
