had the sam eproblem with mine... one day i found pinheads in my A avicularia cage....
They dissapeared a few days after that without doing anything....
anyway.. as you can't keep a blondi too dry, i would simply sugest changing the whole thing....
40% in your house!?? i have 20%!!! it is SO damn hard to get the humidity up to 80% for some of my spiders.. but on the other side.. i prefre it to having a humid livingroom... :-D
They do grow impressively fast.. i have had mine since it was a nymph... it's first meal was a HUGE fly... i am still amazed each time it molts... how can such a spider fit in such a small exosceleton!!!??
anyway.. keep the humidity high.. and feed it alot.. that should do the trick.. :-D
after working a bit with the database from Heartfang, i am impressed... could turn out to be a very usefull tool.. reaelly look forward to some interesting reports... :-)
Does anyone know how to make graphs (diagrams) in acces??
i am working at a database right now where i also want to keep track of humidity and temperature.. but i guess it is easier to work on this one instead.. looks great!!!
i keep it to the latin name.. if i have 2 or more of the same, i give them "serial numbers".... i guess i dob't have a personal relatonship to them.... ;-)
hello,
I wandered if any of you have pictures of the inside og tarantulas...
i would really like to see pictures of the pumping stomach or the book lungs or even the heart!?
Hey,
I am working on an access database, to keep track of my spider's conditions and molts...
how do you keep track of such things? or don't you keep any journal at all..!?
hello,
Thanks for al your replies and sugestions,
Karin, are you sure hot glue is ok? i am not sure if it could emit dangerous substances when combined with water... i have occasionaly used hot glu in my bathroom and due to the humidity, it never holds... maybe the water could wash off...
I know it looks risky, but i have tested it thourougly.... gave the cage an decent shake, and it seems like the stones (they are actually pepples) are quite rigidly stuck....
But good point anyway! borrowing T's need safened decoration....
