I've heard that beanie baby containers are good to use for aboreals and saves space. As for others I use critter keepers. Some people don't like them but they have worked well for me. I fill mine about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way and let the T's do the rest. As for your water, I dump water in once...
I personal wouldn't waste my time feeding it small ones. What I have done in the past and this has worked for feeding slings at least for me is to take a normal size cricket or bigger and crush its head and throw it in. I only due one and within minutes to hours the slings and smaller T's have...
Ahhh you have come upon the age old question. And all I can tell you on that is that it come down to what you like and what works for you and your T. Because I have heard some say that they have tryed one combo and there T spent all of it time trying not to be on the substrate. Maybe someone...
I would say the legth of the T. from the top of the cage to the substrate. That way you don't have to worrie about a fall. Opps looks like Windchaser beat me to it.:)
Mine died as a sling for no reason at all. If I ever get another it will be an adult. It really hurt because he was the first T I owned that walked out on his own right onto my hand and said "WHAT CRICKETS AGAIN!!!!" ;P ;P ;P
She had babies. There are only 3 that I see right now. They are really big to. I will be able to put up a pic in a couple of day's. Is there anything I should due or know? Thanks
I put my male into a small KK and then put him into her tank. I left them overnight and the next day seperated them. They did mate but she has not made a egg sack. I have done this 2 times all ready the first time she molted about a week or 2 after. Hope things work better for you than me...
Well from what I could see it look very much like babies to me. I could see little claws and little eyes. Well at least that is what it looks like to me. I may just be going crazy.=D
Ok I got my first Question. If a scorp is graved? and she is up against the glass can you see the babies in her? I am talking about seeing her underside. It looks like she has babies.
Just to let ya know that I got a flat rock scorp. I was told it is a color morph when I get some time I will take some pics. And if I have any Questions I will be here posting.
My green bottle is very friendly. I have even by accident held her. She wanted to go for a walk. Any how she has build a web across the top of the kitter keeper and sits right there. She doesn't run when I open the top and let's me do what ever I have to. She is one of my nicer T's.
ps...
I finally got a T.Blondi and she is like that. I tryed to move her out of the container and she turned and bite at the prongs that I was useing. She is a mean thing.
I got my rosea in a large Kitter Keeper. She seems happy. I use to have mine in a 10 gallon also but I just didn't see any point in it one day and down sized her. She gets the crickets quicker.:D ;) :)
I got back from the NY rep show yesterday broke. Now has anyone noticed that after awhile you start to come home from the shows with less T's but you are spending more money. My first show I came home with 12 T's I think thats how many, anyway this show my 3rd, I came home with only 6 but I...
