    'camel spider'

Well first off, that's one camel spider hanging onto another, and secondly, it's just the perspective that makes it looks big. If you look to the right of them where the sleeve is, you'll find that they aren't actually that big at all.

    My Solifugid Experience (so far)

I've never kept anything close to Solifugids ever, but I've read posts here stating: They don't need feeding everyday. Their enclosures shouldn't be extremely hot all day (temp should drop at night) And most importantly, they hibernate.

Hey Deroplatys, is tap water safe to use? And if so, does it need changing every now and again, or scavengers?

    Advice on keeping aquatic insects?

In the spring, I'm gonna try keep some pond skaters, water scorpions and great diving beetles, but I have no idea what special requirements they have. I know they're carnivores, and I know they're aquatic, but how much would they need feeding? does the water need changing every now and again...

Tegenaria moult under a USB microscope

I highly doubt that the spider in your cricket tub is a Tegenaria, the most commonly found sp in cricket tubs are Thanatus vulgaris, a Philodromid crab spider. Does it look like this? Not my pic, btw. And I'll try to take a photo of my Tegenaria later, although I'll have to coax it out of its...

    Versicolor upside down and unresponsive

Yeah, it's spelt ecdysis. I had to learn how to spell that though, I always end up typing edycis, edyciscis or edysicsis. Have a beamish day, and try not to be uffish. It's been rather tulgey lately.:)

    Thanatus vulgaris

Awesome, but warning: these guys are INCREDIBLY fast, and they defecate a lot too, which makes cleaning it out extremely risky. Maybe I need a more natural setup with plenty of hiding space, but since it's a foreign species I have no idea what its natural habitat is like.
