M. gibbosus occurs in way different habitats, from almost aride to semi-humid.
Of course its lotsa more difficult to find em in the woods and bushes.

this doesnt look like an A. australis, the metasoma is way too small.
Might have been A. amoureuxi, but too hard to tell on that photos.

P. imperator cant be sexed by counting the pectinal tooth.
There are some differences indeed, but its too unsure.
This species mainly is sexed by the length of the 7th pectinal tooth on the right pectine, counted from outside. Females: below 2,5 mm, average: 2,1mm. Males: above 2,5mm...
