Have never kept a true spider before, have had a few different types of tarantula, and I am interested in keeping a species of jumping spider to study, possibly breed. anyone have a suggestion for a spp. that may be easy to care for or that is fairly easy to breed, and big enough to see well? {D
once had a b. albop sling that did the exact same thing... then one day there was a molt! lol when a T doesnt eat usually it has a reason.. if they are hungry they will eat dont worry!
when i bred my G. rosea i put the male in one of those small critter containers (plastic, slotted top) and left him in her tank for about a day or maybe two, when he was calm i let him out and it worked great GL!
i would say to put something like a. avic. in there... i had a male who did better in humidity, although they are climbers and tend to web a little, but the idea would be great for an avic sp. that enjoys humidity if it were a higher tank with climbing abilities{D
Poecilotheria sp. are said to have a real nasty bite. and OBT's are likely to bite you, but the venom isnt likely to have long-lasting effects on your nervous system like what i've heard about Poecilotheria sp... my choice would be the OBT, but i like terrestrials better and really bright...
