Mine thought everything hitting the ground was food. Bottomless pits for appetite. Great looking T.
Once it gets the hit that it's not food it's pouncing on, she became clueless and just sat there.
To remove the hairs, use duct tape or lindt roller. To relieve the itching I use calamine lotion and take some anti-histamines at certain times of the day.
I find that the itching gets really intense around 9pm and around noon. Must be something with the body's daily cycle. Benadryl works...
I know this seems like a silly question, but really, these guys are resilient as hell.
Story is I've got a Klugi with some broken fangs. She tries to grab the roaches, but she lets go since her fangs don't pierce the roach.
So how do I pre kill? Severing the head still leaves it kicking...
I'd love to get a female, but the flow of tarantulas here isn't as high as in the US. Not quite interested tin 50/50 simply because I don't have the time to take care of that many slings.

Took another photo of him. Tip of his 2nd from the front right leg (dont know the exact term) is right on the 6inch mark.

10 inches may be the length he can stretch from front to back. DLS may be a different story. If he dies on my hands, I'll measure him and take a photo. If it's 13 inches, I'm calling the Guiness Book of World Records.
