    construction question "spray adhesive"

Nope...... I didn't like the results, so I never used it. I was just stating that it wasn't as effective as I thought it would be for that application. I just had a sudden spark of "genius" one day and thought it would be awesome, but it wasn't. The brand I was using was 3M. I was a...

    construction question "spray adhesive"

I have used it to adhere substrate to hides, creating the whole "cave" effect, but honestly, it sucks for that application. I had to re-apply many times to get the desired effect, and it just wasn't as easy as I'd hoped it would be.

The MOST docile T EVER!! E. campestratus

This is the species that won my wife's heart into the world of tarantulas. When we were dating I had a PZB that was so docile you could literally roll it around in your hand and it would do nothing. It didn't seem to care at all what you did with it, and never displayed any attempt to defend...

    pulling the C.cyaneopubescens (GBB) eggsac!

Mucho congrats man! Super cool of you to video that for everyone to see. Do we get a discount if we order now? ...j/k I'll be watching the for sale ads for your slings. -Charles

    Female dealer ignore my call!

{D You went there........ It did kind of stick out there, huh? j/k @ the OP If you truly feel as though she's ignoring you, don't buy from her. Someone who will ignore you pre-sale is probably not someone who will take good care of you post-sale, if something were to go wrong...

    HELP! Please ideas...

Do you know where your P. irminia came from? If it was WC, it could possibly have some kind of parasite. Again, a pic would be nice, but is sounds like either EXTREME dehydration, or some type of parasite.

Please! I think I have really bad news...

I wouldn't count it out yet. Just keep the lid on and try not to disturb the sling. It looks like you've already got plenty of moisture in the container. The morning will tell what the outcome is. Best Wishes p.s. Did you add the water after the "accident"? Is it possible that the...

    Thanks to the boards.

Nice to hear your story ended well. A few weeks ago my sister and her friends were at the lake and a large male A. hentzi came into their campsite. They smashed it........... It seems there's never an end to the ignorance that people openly display when it comes to tarantulas. I got...

    Nice Cheap Arboreal Enclosures

I've been looking into this pretty exstensively.... We have a local company called Regal Plastic that will actually pre-cut (up to 100 cuts per sheet!) your whole sheet of plexi-glass/acrylite, in whatever thickness you desire for like $15. The downside is that you have to buy a whole sheet...

    agressive tarantulas

I have to agree with **AHEM**<Chesh>**AHEM**...... The Orange Bitey Things are one of the most defensive I have ever seen.

Not sure this sling is what I bought.

Second on the P. irminia... However, It's hard to clearly make out the color segments on the abdomen, so it's a bit difficult to say for sure.

noT to sound like a masochist, but....

That's a good perspective to have! {D To the OP....... Let's say you do get up the nerve to provoke one of your tarantulas to bite you. Do you know that you aren't allergic to their particular venom? The adverse effects to your health could be devastating. You might think it's cool...

    OMG This is bad...

Relevant to the OP's post, no. Relevant to the rest of the thread, yes. I have several posts in this thread. If you didn't read them all, it won't make any sense (may not even if you read them, lol {D). You caught the tail end of a conversation that is pieced throughout several pages. I...

    OMG This is bad...

I completely understand why you use the word "jump" to describe what you see, but the Rosie isn't gaining any altitude. It simply lunges forward off of something (like your hand) or lunges downward to a lower surface. In either case it is usually only a very short distance. A fall from any...

    OMG This is bad...

Understandable....... Regarding the "holes" in your original post, I wasn't criticizing you as much as I was making the point that you can find "holes" in just about anything that someone says, if that's the sort of person that you want to be. Example: The fact that your spider went...

    OMG This is bad...

I've had both species as slings and adults. For me personally, it's quite easy to tell the difference at 4".......but for someone who hasn't spent countless hours staring at these two species, I can see how it can be easy to confuse them. The question you are asking is quite subjective. It...

    A. seemanni

You could be right...... I haven't had any of this species (or kept up with them) for at least 6-7 years, so I guess alot could've happened since then. Guess I should have done my homework. @ Chris NEW ANSWER: It won't be too long before there are alot more breeding projects, but the...

    A. seemanni

People want cheap, instant satisfaction. For that reason, these, and some others (G. rosea for example) are easier to import for our market than to raise from slings. Though captive breeding has numerous benefits, captive bred tarantulas have a significant price tag attached to them that the...
