    Androctonus bicolor...

Bring it on Kevin! Love to see your newly acquired L.Qs when they arrive, now that is a very easy scorpion to shoot!

    Androctonus bicolor gave birth

I would very deeply enjoy possessing these species, as far as legal precedures on a successful smuggling job, IIRC yes they can still pursue and prosecute. Well, I would have to do some investigating into such news stories relating to reptile and tarantula smuggling. BTW, smuggling is the...

Need Spider I.D. quick Pic Inside

Yeah, I have occassionally fed common true spiders such as these to my Widows and scorpions (never weavers, jumpers, or wanderers such as wolf and lynx, etc), mainly due to convenience and to see my pets tackle a fellow predator. Steatoda being a cobweb spider is definitely highrisk if allowed...

    Androctonus bicolor gave birth

Definitely Pandinus, or else collectors/dealers would have set up shop on these awesome little critters.

    Hadogenes troglodytes pics

Sorry, never kept the species. May want to do a search on the species at Google or check the pics at Scorpion Files but I am sure another member here can also answer your inquiry. ;)

    Some new pictures

My tweezers have additional soft rubber tip coverings, or use a smaller set of tweezers. Otherwise you will have to singly corral each individual scorpling into a deli-cup.

    Hadogenes troglodytes pics

What a nice big healthy specimen, she is a female BTW. Sexually diamorphism exist in the Hadogenes species as the males have exaggerated long tails (metasomas).

    C. Vittatus just gave birth (pic)

Ten gallon terrarium is far too much space, you lose a single C.vittatus in a container that size (note, a little levity in that statement). The scorplings won't eat until they left their mother's back. Then you feed them crushed pinhead crickets or flightless fruit fly nymphs. You could place...

What Bugs would make a good Bug Zoo?

    L. hesperus

Awesome spider, my Widows give me hours of viewing delight. I recently caught three L.hesperus adults that have a deep reddish brown tone to their abdomens. Probably one of the most exciting and curious arachnids in all of my collection.

    Androctonus bicolor gave birth

Errit, no they have never been available in America but Europe??? I don't know. Every one of them inhabits Mexico and represents probably the four most venomous Centruroides species below the Border (give or take one or two species). They're small, slender, and oh so venomous. I am such a huge...

    Some new pictures

Excellent pics. Thanks for sharing em. What do you mean precisely you haven't figured out moving 20 scorplings, L.Q. or Androctonus are very simple, use tweezer and gentley grip the metasomas. Not near as violent reaction as an adult or subadult. ;)

    Androctonus bicolor gave birth

Gorgeous! Congratulations and that sand is a magnificent backdrop or field against the dark scorpion. Great pics!

    Three new scorps...

Congrats, spoken like a true arachnophile and the closet is a wonderful insulator for microclimates such as terrariums with creatures in them. Post those pics soon! Looking forward to them! :)

    Help me please!!!

Yeah, C.vittatus can be quite dispositional, worse than any of it's fellow North American Centruroides species but no less manageable.

Anyone kept or keeping wolf spiders?

Wolf Spiders are simply very aggressive and their predacious pounce is very impressive. Yes, I would feed the Wolf Spider frequently, 1-3 crickets a week depending on the individual's appetite. Removing any remains or live prey items afterwards.
