To put the chances of secondary infection into some kind of perspective, I have been tagged over 500 times and my buddy has been tagged over 600 times. As of a couple years ago neither of us has ever had a serious secondary and we have cumulatively had less than 10 noticeable secondaries. The...

It covers 65+ taxa, is 11,000+ words, and has tons of pictures. The Bringing The Hobby Together Conference edition is currently free, but this won't last for ever.
There is a section for all...

I think separating it would be detrimental to getting biz on.
In more normal lighting conditions this guy looks almost black. The flash greens him out.
By far, our most rare bug. A dark morph Centruroides sculpturatus, Arizona bark scorpion. The adult occurrence of this is probably somewhere in the 1 in 1,000 and 1 in 10,000 neighborhood. We have a male which lives with a harem of females. I'm hoping at least some of the offspring produced will...

We had another couple mother Mexican tailless...
1) I think one got to 4i, a few to 3i, most died in 2i. I think desiccation was a big problem. They pretty readily would eat from prekilled insects.
2) Coconut coir, i use that stuff for pretty much everything. I am not really interested in animals that have unusual care requirements.
3) I...
