Been away for a while but when I saw this, I had to come back and share (did a quick look and didn't see this posted, so if it has been I apologize).
Everyone wants to see tarantulas on tv, and not just a split second glimpse, or five minute segment...well the wait is over.

I just have Chuck Norris stare holes through my tanks, or tell the President there was oil discovered in them...and he starts drilling. :rolleyes:
And if they're not around, I use a soldering iron. Fast, cheap and easy.
And I'm now Santa...and I'm going to need all three of you lovely, lady elves (:eek: :drool: :wall: ), to help me with a special package.
I wouldn't mind all three for Christmas, but I'm not greedy. I'll settle for one. ;)
What a georgeous Pit! My buddy's dogs just had puppies a couple months ago.

I keep all of mine in my room for various reasons, and I very rarely hear anything from the Ts, and on those occaisions, it's always drumming.
I probably don't notice any other noise because of the fish tanks though.

My young guy...6 1/2" T.apophysis...gets mostly crickets that I make sure have had time to eat something, and more importantly drink some water to hydrate them for snack time. At least half a day.
He also gets a roach or two when I go to the show...and very infrequently a pinkie or anole...
As much as I love these guys (and want this one in particular to get a good home), I just can't recommend getting it as a first. There isn't another animal, with the exception of pedes, certain snakes and other sp.), that can prepare you for this species...and the more defensive tarantulas in...
