i have a P. transvaalicus who is very fat. i dont feed it often, yet it does not seem to get any thinner. i feed it once maybe every 1 1/2 weeks. is this normal?

no, u cant get mycosis. if u're going to keep a water dish in the tank, then let it dry out. dont keep it filled.

it has been approximately 3 days now since my excilicauda babies have molted for the first time. is it normal for them to still be on the mother's back? i thought they wouldve been on their own by now.

well if u've been keeping a pair together then it's possible they could have mated. i think its too early to be able to tell.
