well its up to you really. at the end of the day it is a T that's no longer alive, so you can just throw them away if dont want to keep them (sounds cold but it's what you'd do with any house bugs etc)
a few will keep them in the freezer, some cast them in resin, a few options really
also, i'm pretty sure a MM rosea has a good chance of lasting more than a year

from personal experience with the tamron 90mm and the sigma 105mm and the canon 100mm i like the Sigma 105mm the best. It's autofocus is not the greatest, but really good to use and pin sharp optics.
