Ouch!!!! Well it had to happen. A leggy possably male. Bite on end thumb. Little pinch. Not to bad. Within 30 seconds it was throbbing like I was stung by 5 wasps. Putting hand in ice water made it worse. Lasted about 2hrs. Sholder hurts today. Thats about it.{D

He finally croaked. I gather from age. He was 4.5 mths old. :(

They can squirt venom pretty far. Have you seen them do that? :eek:

Windchaser, I noticed you provided me with great suggestions and very many people had opinions too that are very helpful. It wasn't you. There was a flurry of posts about the word "venomous" that had people jumping to conclusions and not really understanding what was actually intended. Maybe...

Very venomous/advanced, terrestial, not a T and they only come in brown. :}

I've always had an admiration for the advanced/unusual/different/striking animals. I'm not a snake person. I've kept pirahanas, iguanas, eels, scorps, various "petshop" Ts, widows, trapdoors, bees, ants, garden spiders, hatched mantids and keep lesser cats. What does it matter anyway? Nothing...

Ok my Father's Day present was a flop(returned). I think I'd like, in this order of importance, a T. 1. Very Venomous/Advanced (top) 2. Terrestrial (not burrowing) 3. Bright (color) 4. Big 5. Eating Machine I am a moron, but I don't handle my spiders(good thing since they are widows)...
