Yuck You can get mites off of roses witha Q-tip and vegetable oil. It smothers the mites.. I don't know if it can hurt your bug, but it probably woudln't. Ask first if they breathe through their skin or anything because I don't keep pedes. And of course COMPLETLY change substrate!
