Quick update Ever since I brought her home, she burrowed deep into the substrate and recently webbed up the entrance. I guess she is getting ready to molt. I'll find out if she really is a she in the next coming weeks. Thanks! :biggrin:

Thanks for the responses guys and gals. I'll try to get a shot of the lungs, I don't have a camera so getting a clear shot with my camera phone is a pain especially these little guys are so fast.

He/she is about 2 1/2 inches.

Sorry, this was sent to me by a seller. I am going to look at he/she later tonight. It is about 5 months old. I'll know more later. Thanks though.

I know the most definitive way to determine is when he or she molts, but I can't wait. What do you guys think?

Thanks for the replies! And yes my T molted inside his hide, he blocked the entrance with the substrate.

When does the T come out after a Molt? My T finished molting about a week and half ago and still, he havent came out.

What about humidity and temperature?

Hey guys, My Rosey hasn't eaten for months now and he always seem to block up his house with dirt. Seems like he wants to be left alone. Anybody know why hes acting like this? Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I recently had a little bit of moss over the substrate, but I had a mite problem so I removed it to dry out the tank.

My Rosie been acting kinda strange. Hasn't really been eating, I tried feeding her one cricket but she didnt finish it. Heres a picture, its from a camera phone. I notice she doesn't stand like normally. She kinda lays down a little.

I have a Chilean Rose. And the substrate is fairly moist on one side and is completely dry on the other, where the T is. The reason for this is because the water dish spilled some water.

For the mite trap, Can you use, say an apple or a pear instead of dead bugs? I'm at work, so it would be kind of weird going around the building looking for dead bugs. :)

thanks for the responses! I rememeber somebody said theres a type of bug that eats these mites. Does anybody know bout this?

How do I get rid of these things? I bring my spider into work for the week so I can't change the substrate. Any alternate solutions? Thanks!

I think I might buy one thats around 1.5" - 2".
