Geniculatas are great eaters indeed. But T.blondi's seem to feed very agressively, they are killers.
Keep in mind, each individual spider will behave differntly and some are better eaters than others even of the same species.

Burrowers will usually take a little bit to acclimate and then start digging. Like the other guys said, it always helps to start them off... Its beneficial for you, as you can choose where he will have the burrow(display purposes or what not), and for the spider as in the wild they usually dont...

a laboratory experiment wud have to be done to actually find out the POTENCY of the venom and it's difference with other tarantula's venoms.. but as windchaser and greg said, there are many factors taht cud affect the time taken to subdue the prey item... so it doesnt necessary mean that gbb's...

quite a while sometimes... let her be... they take a long time to actually "pop" the carapace open, after that, the progress is constant. sometimes takes a couple of days even... be patient for now.. it shud be fine...

thanks guys, its a 96 mag on my microscope.. if it is a spermatechae, it is deffinately pretty undeveloped still.. u can JUST point out the beginning of the 2 chambers on it... next molt shud be much better developed.. we shall see... i think female too...
