    Arachno Veteran

Hi, I chose the name Arachno Veteran, because I’ve kept tarantulas for a long time 😀 Got my first Mexican Red Knee when I was 11 and I’m 54 now. There was one book on keeping tarantulas back then - lol. I’ve written a few articles for Invertebrates Magazine in the past. I’ve always loved bugs.

Thanks. No, they are super-easy to keep: They just drink nectar / nectar substitutes - Like sugar water, honey+water, and beetle jellies. ---------- Post added 08-23-2014 at 11:28 AM ---------- Close enough! lol!

ID this katydid and what does it eat?

OK - these are supposed hard to find since, they're always up high It looks like a Greater Anglewing to me (Microcentrum rhombifolium). Typically 2-2 1/2". Usually perches on the tops of tall bushes & trees. Like other Katydids, it eats the foliage of trees & shrubs.
