Our little Pink Salmon Bird Eater...
L. Parahybana are a trip man...she is by far one of my faves just because of her attitude. She's probably doubled in size (if not more) since we got her.
Here she is:
And here's the rufilata in my hand...before she got pissy lol:
More picture goodness
And our P. Striata Mica decided to go on a little adventure. Surprisingly she's pretty docile.
And she's definitely grown since the last time she was pictured near the top of the thread:
I feed them with tongs directly so they don't have to go far for food.
Time to put up some new pics!!
We got a new T. Blondi. She's gorgeous.
Here's her setup:
Here's her burrow which extends to the back of the tank:
And here's something to compare her too size-wise...
What does it take to become a biologist specializing in Ts and other arachnids?
In fact...what is it called? lol. It wouldn't be categorized under herpetology would it?
If this is in the wrong section feel free to move it please. :wall:
My A. Versi sling has molted a few times with no hassles. This time she seems to be having a little bit of trouble. She's been "stuck" for quite a while. Her fangs, carapace and abdomen are out. She's got the legs on her right side out as well (although one looks like it's curled a little...
So one more time now...
How can you tell the difference between and aggressive and a defensive T?
;P
I'm kidding of course...I'm an aggressively sarcastic individual
Oh she does have a hide up off the ground. I painstakingly made her a beautiful home and placed the hide (with the help of hot glue) against the background sitting on top of a nice thick branch. I covered it nicely with moss and made sure that she could make a nice little tube in there...like...
So I finally got my gorgeous Poecilatharia Rufilata (Jade) and she seems to be doing great however one thing erks me. She's made a nest on the ground. She pulled all the moss and dirt up over it, it's just against the glass so I can see her. She is VERY docile and will go into defensive pose...
Trust me...they have NO issues catching those crickets lol. They catch them before they hit the ground half the time. A lot of the time we feed them with tongs too.
Oh yeah that's enough Ts for now.
Hey...leave some room for the new peeps on the board man...lol
No you've got some awesome Ts and pictures of them and you know it :p
You should check mine out :}
Well I think I speak for everyone else when I say I sincerely hope and pray that it stays that way.
:o :D for the healthy ones
:( for the loss. We just lost our A. Avicularia about a week ago. She was our first T and she had a bad molt.
I wish you the best.
Howdy
