I got a California Kingsnake last fall at a reptile show. She has FINALLY stopped musking me when I handle her.
Today, I went to the IRBA show planning to look for a Leucistic Texas Ratsnake and a Mexican Black Kingsnake. I ended up leaving with my first Ball Python, just couldn't...
Two more pics of my P. regalis
A pic of a T I picked up at a pet shop, it was listed as a Starburst Baboon spider. Not a very good picture but this was the first time I had seen it out of it's burrow in 9 months.
G. rosea fangs.
I went to the IRBA show today and picked up some...
Thanks for the compliments everyone!
Ack, thanks for pointing that out.
Thats a nice camera. I live out in El Cajon, where Washington and Jamacha intersect. My cousin lives in IB but he's thinking about moving, he can't afford the rent with his new job.
A few more pics.
I've been trying to get a good pic of this guy for awhile but he won't cooperate.
This is the best I've managed so far.
Poecilotheria regalis
My other Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens
.5 inch Lasiodora difficilis
Another shot of my Brachypelma smithi. Heh, over a month...
Eucratoscelus pachypus - she was a little angry at me for disturbing her.
Grammastola aureostriata - It molted a few days ago and lost a leg :(
Edit - added thumbnails.
Avicularia avicularia
I tried getting a close up of the foot. I used the digital zoom and lost a lot of quality but I expected that.
Edit - added thumbnails.
Well, my technique is zero so the credit for the pics goes to the camera.
It just has a pretty good macro mode and a super macro mode. Thats why I decided to get it after seeing Kirdecs photos and finding out that it was pretty cheap.
Got a new camera today and took some pictures of my T's.
Brachypelma albopilosum
Aponophelma seemani
Brachypelma smithi
Davus fasciatus
Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens
Pterinochilus murinus
Iridopelma hirsutum
megaphobema robustum
Edit - added thumbnails.
My first and only (so far) escapee was my D.fasciatus sling. It moulted and then managed to squeeze out an air hole. I doubt it lasted long against the house spiders.
I use large mayonnaise jars. I melt holes for ventilation and put in a piece of cork bark or some fake plants.
You can find fake plants at any pet supply store.
