Well, my technique is zero so the credit for the pics goes to the camera. It just has a pretty good macro mode and a super macro mode. Thats why I decided to get it after seeing Kirdecs photos and finding out that it was pretty cheap.

Got a new camera today and took some pictures of my T's. Brachypelma albopilosum Aponophelma seemani Brachypelma smithi Davus fasciatus Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens Pterinochilus murinus Iridopelma hirsutum megaphobema robustum Edit - added thumbnails.

My first and only (so far) escapee was my D.fasciatus sling. It moulted and then managed to squeeze out an air hole. I doubt it lasted long against the house spiders.

I use large mayonnaise jars. I melt holes for ventilation and put in a piece of cork bark or some fake plants. You can find fake plants at any pet supply store.

Well, I just checked on it and it's dead. This is so depressing, it was one of my first tarantulas and my favorite.
